Users Can Now Comment on Songs They Like on YouTube Music – Times of India

YouTube has been introducing several new features to its dedicated music app. The latest additions include Live Lyrics and the ability to find a song by humming its tune. Now, the Google-owned company is adding a comments section on the “Now Playing” screen.
The “Now Playing” screen on YouTube Music recently underwent a redesign, which added multiple options above the seek bar. Among these options, a comments section has been rolled out to a small number of users. The new feature seems to make the music experience more engaging for users.
The update, including the redesign, is being rolled out to both iOS and Android devices.
What is the ‘Comment’ section on YouTube Music?
The “Comment” section is located among the various options above the seek bar, such as “Like”, “Dislike”, “Save”, “Share”, “Download”, and “Radio”. By tapping on this option, users can read existing comments and write their own comments directly from the app, just like they can on the YouTube app.
Other changes on YouTube Music
Another change being introduced is that the song/video toggle is now white instead of matching the background color of the Now Playing screen. Additionally, YouTube Music recently launched the “Samples” tab, which allows users to discover new music.
YouTube also recently introduced a Live Lyrics feature that allows users to easily follow along with the lyrics of a song, similar to the feature already available on Spotify.

Unique Perspective: The comments section on YouTube Music is a great addition for users who want to engage with other music enthusiasts. It provides a platform to share thoughts, recommendations, and engage in discussions about songs and artists. With this feature, YouTube Music aims to create a more interactive and community-driven music experience for its users.
